Project Description
Live Framework Explorer (LFE) is an addin for Visual Studio 2008 that makes it much easier to browse the contents and data inside a user's Live Framework Resource Model.

LFE is developed in C#.

This project is no longer supported because Microsoft stopped LiveFx since late 2009

Visual Studio Addin

• Visual Studio Add-in for VS2005 and VS2008 (integrated in a VS Tool Window)
• Interacting with VS StatusBar and Output Window for log

Resources explorer

• Windows Live Id Client integration
• Connection to Windows Live Mesh (Live Desktop) and Local Desktop
• Display all Mesh items in a TreeView (Contacts, Profiles, MeshObjects, Device and News)
• Display the selected Mesh object in the VS Properties window
• Renaming of Live Item’s title by double-click on a live item in the treeview

• LiveItemEditorPlugin : to edit a resource in a PropertyGrid and update this content on your Mesh
• CreateLiveItemPlugin : to create an LiveItem in a LiveItemCollection (the LiveItem is type of TMeshItem of the collection)
• DeleteLiveItemPlugin : to remove a LiveItem from a LiveItemCollection
• VSSettingsImportExportPlugin : to import/export Visual Studio Settings file in Mesh
• AddInvitationPlugin : to share your MeshObject by sending invitation
